You know your child.
I help you navigate the system.
Parent-to-parent special education advocacy to help you understand IEPs, 504 plans, and evaluations, prepare for school meetings, and speak up for what your child needs.
How I Help
Document review
I help you understand your child’s IEP or 504 plan and evaluation, identify concerns, and gather questions.
Meeting preparation
I help you organize your priorities and prepare a clear plan for the conversation with your child’s school.
Meeting attendance
I take the seat beside you, help track questions and discussion points, and talk through the meeting afterward.
Meet your advocacy sidekick
I’m Darlene Edwards, a mom of five who learned and studied the special education process because my own children needed an advocate. Now I help other parents understand their child’s plan, organize their concerns, and prepare for school meetings. And when you don’t want to walk into a meeting alone, I’ll take the seat beside you.
